A master magician, mentalist and comic, Jay Alexander is one of the top corporate and society entertainers in the country. Some of his notable appearances include the Today Show, TEDx Talks, MTV, Good Morning America, and special performances for Robin Williams, the Rolling Stones and Apple founder Steve Wozniak.
Jay Alexander is the great grandson of the legendary vaudeville performer, Gentleman Ben Darwin. As a child, Jay found a trunk in his grandparent’s attic that was filled with magical apparatus and escape illusions. His interest in magic was born with this discovery.
At the age of fourteen, Jay was honored to be the youngest recipient of the Society of American Magicians Gold Medal of Honor. For over 25 years, Jay has pursued his passion of creating unique live entertainment by mystifying audiences young and old with miraculous effects of the mind and the hands.
After years of touring the world, Jay is excited to settle down in this hidden jewel box theater in San Francisco where he can see the expressions on peoples faces as he performs and give them an experience guests won't ever forget. Your ticket is for the entire chair but you will probably only use the edge of your seat.
About the theater:
The Marrakech Magic Theater was founded in 2010 by magician Peter Morrison, for the last 5 years it has been one of the highest-rated attractions on TripAdvisor and Yelp. During the course of Peter's tenure over the last 7 years he looked for guidance from his friend and colleague Magician Jay Alexander. Looking to get closer to his family in Georgia, Peter decided to turn over the Theater to Jay starting in 2017. Peter has confidence that you will find a special experience with Jay's amazing Mind Tricks Show. In the future if you wish to see Peter again you will be able to find him at his new theater in Atlanta the AtlantaMagicTheater.com
